This week
We have had an extremely exciting week this week, with our special guest on Tuesday. Dermot O'Leary came in to to talk to the children about his new book Toto the Ninja Cat and was was fabulous with the children. They thoroughly enjoyed hearing about his life and taking part in a little activity of creating their own creature. It was a great morning for Team TC. Yesterday, I went round to all of the classes to watch Maths in action across the school, as it is one of our priorities this year. The children were all engaged and I was really proud of how hard they were all working! Go Team TC! Our thoughts and prayers have been with Mrs Giles and her families this week following her breast cancer diagnosis. We shared with South Africa class that the prognosis is currently very good with a short treatment plan and we know you will all keep her in your thoughts over the coming months. Just as a reminder please can I ask that parents and carers use the pedestrian gate to enter and exit the school at drop off and pick up times, I am nearly always on the gate and it is important from a safeguarding perspective, that I see everyone coming and going. Thank you. Have a great weekend.
Worship
On Monday Father Stuart led our worship on Joseph and his brothers and how Joseph and his brothers felt, discussing how they would feel if they were in that situation. On Wednesday, the children looked at Dermot O'Leary and his Christian beliefs. Today, Brazil led an awesome class worship on their PGL trip and how exciting it was! Well done Brazil!
