How have you shown: Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Thankfulness this week?
This week at Thomas Coram
What a lovely week we have all had at TC. We started the week with our Year 4 residential, which was amazing! The children were fantastic and we had such a great time doing all of the different activities. Yesterday, we had our transition day and it was wonderful to see all the children so settled and to welcome our new Year 3 cohort. I am really excited for next year and having another great year ahead of us. Ida and Arthur would like to say a huge thank you to the TC community for all the amazing cakes baked and bought at their bake sale last Friday. Both bake sales (at Victoria and TC) raised a combined total of £774 for the Hospice of St Francis, for which we are so grateful and delighted. The leftover cakes were donated directly to the hard-working team at the hospice. Thank you bakers and buyers! Mrs Bruguier would like to thank Hannah, Carys, Isla, Sam, Evie, Lily, Dexter and Sofia for accompanying her to Victoria for a concert to the children there. They were a delight to take out. Victoria pupils enjoyed the guitar, singing, violin and piano playing. Mrs Bruguier felt very proud of everyone of them.  We would also like to give a shout out to Eliza in Brazil. On Saturday 5th July Eliza took part in her first basketball tournament as a Hertfordshire county player! They won 2 games, lost 2, so no medal, but was a great experience for her. Both her family and TC very proud. I hope everyone has a great weekend and one more week to go!

Important Information

Sports Day

Sports Day will be held on Wednesday 16th July from around 9 am - 12pm. The children will do running races first and then there will be circuits after. You are welcome to stay for the whole morning or just for the races. We look forward to welcoming you on 16th July.

Y6 Enterprise Stalls
Y6 pupils have taken part in a Dragons Den challenge they had to pitch a business idea to Mis Hill and Mrs Randall and if approved were given some money to create a stall that they will be sharing with the School on Tuesday.  All pupils will have a chance to visit the stalls and buy items or take part in games should they wish.  If you want your child to take part please bring money in a named envelope a maximum of £5.  We cannot wait to see who has raised the most money! Thanks to the FOTC for funding this.
Production Club
Production Club is back for its third year! Some of your eagle eyed children may have spotted the clues around school, but we are delighted to let you know we will be doing Mary Poppins! If your child would like to take part, please ensure you have signed up by Monday 14 July. Sign up and club details are available in Arbor. We cannot wait to get started in September!

Messages for Miss Hill
If anybody didn't get a chance to leave a wedding message for Miss Hill yesterday and would like to do so please put your message or picture on coloured paper and bring them to the office by next Friday.
After School Club
Whilst we endeavour to offer everyone a space at Captains Club we would really appreciate you booking spaces required for September before the end of term.
