How have you shown: Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Thankfulness this week?
This week at Thomas Coram
On Tuesday our term was kicked off with a Year 6 Greek WOW day and the company commented on how spectacular our children were in their behaviour and knowledge - so well done Year 6! What a treat we had on Wednesday. We had Marcus Pike come in to perform a concert for the children, which was spectacular. The children were fully engaged and singing and dancing along to all of the songs, it was a real pleasure to see. Our Year 5's have had an excellent week completing their bikeability course, even if it was a little wet for them. Today, we have had an awesome day at Chessington with our Year 6's and have enjoyed the thrill-seeking rides on offer. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
Worship
Father Stuart came in on Monday to deliver our worship on Saint Thomas and spoke to the children about why he was important. The children then looked at this during their class worship. Today Miss Williamson, celebrated our stars of the week.

Community Information

DENS Woodland Trail – Saturday 21st June, Berkhamsted Castle
A scenic community-friendly walk through nature, choose from a 5 or 10-mile walk (or run) through beautiful woodland and countryside. Whether walking as a family, with friends, or enjoying some alone time outdoors, whilst supporting a local charity.
It’s a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the outdoors, take on a challenge, and help make a difference in their community. Every step taken will directly support local people facing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion.

Big Green Week
As part of Berkhamsted’s Great Big Green Week, Rectory Lane Cemetery is once again running a FREE event for families on Sunday 15 June, between 10.00 and 13.00. An ideal Father's Day activity for the whole family! Drop in for an hour to their FREE Great Big Nature Hunt: knowledgeable guides are on hand to help you to discover different aspects of nature in their three green acres: bees, bugs, butterflies, newts... so much wildlife on your doorstep! Children can join in the hunt, do some crafting and enjoy a small reward at the end. Home-made refreshments available for all. The event is free, but the charity does welcome donations on the day to help look after this community space. Book tickets so they know to expect you.
