How have you shown: Kindness, Resilience, Respect and Thankfulness this week?
This week at Thomas Coram
A huge well done to all of our Year 6 children this week on completing their SATs!! They all worked incredibly hard and showed pure resilience and dedication. Thank you also to the staff who came in early each day to give the children a good start to the day and served them breakfast. The sausage sandwiches were a big success yesterday! All of the children across the school have also been incredibly hard working and have had to be respectful to our Year 6's! An extremely busy week across the school but one where I am so proud of the children and whatever the outcome, I know that every child gave this week their all! Go Team TC!! One more week to go, then a well deserved half term! Have a wonderful weekend.
Worship
Father Stuart came in on Monday and led a fantastic worship outside looking at The Day of Pentecost. On Tuesday, the children could be heard singing VE celebration songs through the corridors. Today we celebrated our Stars of the Week and shared examples of how we have shown kindness, resilience, respect and thankfulness.

Important Information

Castle CE Federation - Design a poster homework!
We would like our pupils to take part in our first ever joint homework, see here for more info. Please make sure you have returned your design by Monday 2nd June.
The Book Fair is coming!
TC will once again be welcoming the book fair from 19th - 24th May. More information about times it will be open to the children and year groups can be found here.
Dacorum Family Support
We have arranged for Jan Nethercoat from Darorum Family Support to come and speak to TC parents around the theme of anxiety and the impact that it has on pupils' attendance. Like many schools we are seeing an increase in the number of children who are unable to attend school completely or for whom attendance is a real barrier for them. This is open to all TC parents and advanced sign-up is not necessary. Please come in via the main school reception.
Date: Wednesday 25th June

Time: 2:30pm - 3:20pm
