This week

I cannot believe we are one half term completed! It is crazy to think how quickly this term has gone, but it has been a super exciting term for everyone at Team TC. From PGL, author visits, class worships to swimming and WOW days. The children have had a jam packed 7 weeks! I have been so astounded with the children's resilience and kindness this term and how well they have all settled in. I have also really enjoyed getting to know all the Year 3 children and meeting everyone new who has started at Team TC. I have also really enjoyed going into the classes this term and looking at the lessons and how the children are engaging. This is going to be a big focus this year and any encouragement from home on active listening skills of the children would be amazing.

Oracy conversation for at home: Would you rather have wings or run super fast?

I hope everyone has a wonderful half term and I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday 3rd November.

Worship
On Monday, Father Stuart led worship on The Exodus and they looked at Luke the Evangelist in our Famous Christian worship. Today, we celebrated our wonderful children and the values they have demonstrated throughout the week!

Saving Castle Fields

Alex from Y6 is raising money for Saving Castle Fields.  On Saturday 1st November he will be running 5 laps of George Street with his Dad! Castle Fields is a special place for Alex as he walks his dog, Ziggy there.  Although Berkhamsted Castle Federation have bought the fields they have to pay back the £500,000 loan. Alex has a justgiving page and would really appreciate any sponsorship.
