Notices and Reminders

"Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive others." Colossians 3:13

This week, our final theme for the value of Forgiveness has been 'When darkness turned to light'. On Wednesday Chloe shared paintings of the Easter story and considered how those of Good Friday relied on dark colours, whilst those depicting Easter Sunday were full of light. Chloe explained how this is how we might feel after forgiving someone.Term concluded with our first whole school service at St Peters since Summer 2019!

This week in school
On Monday, our SENCO, Mrs Parker shared information about autism with the children as we celebrated Autism Awareness Week. The children asked many pertinent and relevant questions.

As part of the Friends of Thomas Coram's fundraising efforts, the children were invited to take part in the Thomas Coram Great Bake Off. There were three categories: Jubilee, Hobbies and Traditional bakes. Our School Council representatives judged the entries before they were sold off at the end of the day to parents and carers raising an amazing £625. Congratulations to Joseph C who won the Jubilee category; to Connie who won the Hobbies category, and to Harley B who won the Traditional category.

We welcomed our local PCSOs on Wednesday lunchtime. They spent time on the Upper Key Stage 2 playground chatting with the children. They will be visiting again after Easter to lead an assembly for the older children.

Finally, well done to all the children for their hard work this term. Between them they amassed 9,7510 House points, with Mandela retaining the House Cup.
